Cowboy Code

Gene Autry was one of the greatest singing cowboys of the 1930’s, 40’s, and 50’s. His radio, television, and film career was as successful as any star from that era. He even recorded the first-ever gold record, That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine, in 1932. Over this time he developed a code of ethics that started as guidance for the production of his films. Starting around 1947 The Cowboy Code was shared with his viewing audience.

The Barnyard Brewers are committed to the Cowboy Code and expect everyone we encounter on our brewing journey to do the same, or leave the beer for someone who will.

3. always tell the truth.

4. be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals.

5. not advocate or possess racially or religiously intolerant ideas.
